The Costa Blanca (White Coast) with over 320 days of glorious sunshine annually, low rainfall, freshly grown produce in abundance, combined with the availability of fresh fish make it listed by the World Health Organisation as one of the healthiest places to live worldwide.This combined with the salt lakes (Las Salinas) and the mountains give the area its unique climate and the area also boasts many blue flag beaches.
Accessibility to the area is easy, with regular scheduled flights running from Dublin, Shannon, Knock and Cork Airports,throughout the year, with Aer Lingus to Alicante and Ryanair to Alicante and Murcia Airports. Aer Lingus now have a flight base at Belfast International airport with regular flights that service this area and Easyjet to Alicante from Belfast also.
Flight times vary from 2 hours 15 minutes to 2hours 40 minutes. Distance from Airport to destination 40 minutes from Alicante and 20 minutes from Murcia to most destinations in southern Costa Blanca.
There is also a new international airport due to open in Corvera to cater for the large number of golf developments inland, away from the coastal areas.
